TB24C lost to maharaddis in a football game of extreme luck for both teams (bad for one and good for other)... however, maharaddis, from a fake player's point of view, needs its luck to be with them for next 2 days to lose gracefully.. because winning really seems far fetched with only shulabh 'shoucahalaya', Amit 'farzee dada' tabha and 'super fast' tripuraj .. so basically, I take an oath to stop writing this blog the day they actually manage to win! (as in, the fake tapan baba player blog) :) .. Also, with TB24C out of the competition, हड़ताल बल heaved a huge sigh of relief as their betting odds of winning the football tournament have improved in their favor.
Btw, anyone who wants to bet about winning teams, contact Baangdu of TB24C if your budget is at least 50 lakhs! For cheaper betting deals, contact maharaddis, they make deals till as low as Rs.3 per kg .. Dont think it was related, but I just loved that crack during opening ceremony, apart from the desi tamancha's 'dhishkaao dhiskaao'!
Another surprise, or u might call it the shocker or 'what the hell was that?!' kind of feeling is when we saw IMT Alumni team playing. I might not be surprised (again) if Alumni-Us scores the maximum points amongst all the IMT teams in men's sports.. we would have loved it if there was some fairer sex participation from the Alumni team! :). But again, hats off to SportsComm and also AlCom for getting them down here to the campus! .. 'LIKE' (blame the use of this word on facebook).. Also, hats off to all the Alums and their family who came down here... 'SUPER LIKE' (suggestion for FB :P )
So, heroes of first day - ALUMNI TEAM and also Franzy bones, who beat FORE, the four time winners of cricket in Chakravyuh. From unreliable sources, it has also come to my notice that Fore was also reduced to four for four by franzy bones... It seems Fore cannot get over their obsession of Fours, apart from the actual fours scored by them in cricket :P.
